The Medicated Child

From Furious Seasons:

PBS is rerunning its January “Frontline” piece on the bipolar child paradigm called “The Medicated Child.” The piece airs this evening at 9 p.m. on many PBS stations. Check your local listings for the time in your area.

There was a huge response to the piece the first time out. PBS tells me it got over 1,000 and emails and comments to its website. So for those of you who haven’t seen it, watch the show, which is pretty well done and gets at most of the major issues around kids with alleged mental illnesses. In pacticular, you can have fun watching how the doctors of Harvard University refused to respond to “Frontline” and passed off duties for defending the paradigm they created on a doc at Stanford. You can also watch the show online here.
